In this stressful and unusual situation victims of criminal offences will find examples of possible courses of action and access to various assistance and support.

Note: The range of general information and procedure descriptions offered in German however is more extensive than that offered in English. At present you will find the following subjects in English: Vehicles, Trading Licence, Studying, Moving House, Business Start-Up, Immigration.

In emergencies you can always dial the emergency numbers 110 or 112. Under the telephone number 110 you will immediately reach the nearest Police Station. Under the European emergency number 112, you will reach the Fire Brigade and Emergency Medical Services/Emergency Doctor. Hearing and speech impaired persons can contact the relevant responsible Police Station directly under the emergency fax number 110.
